Privacy Policy — Rock Paper Scissors Shooter

Effective date: 28-02-2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Rock Paper Scissors Shooter (the “App”) collects, uses, and shares information when you play on iOS.

1) Who we are

Developer/Publisher: RPS Shooter
Contact: privacy@rps-shooter.com

2) Summary

  • The App is a first-person shooter with Rock/Paper/Scissors gameplay rules.

  • The App may collect limited technical and gameplay data to keep the game working, improve performance, and (if enabled) show ads.

  • We do not ask for your contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or precise GPS location unless you add features that require them.

3) Information we collect

A) Information you provide

Most players don’t provide personal information. If you contact support, we receive the information you send (e.g., email address, message content, attachments like screenshots).

B) Information collected automatically (common for games)

Depending on your build and enabled SDKs, the App may automatically collect:

Device & app data

  • Device model, OS version

  • App version, language, time zone (approx.)

  • Device identifiers used for diagnostics and/or advertising (see below)

Diagnostics

  • Crash logs, error logs, performance data (e.g., frame time)

  • Network status and basic telemetry (to understand stability)

Gameplay analytics (non-personal by default)

  • Session start/end times

  • Basic events like level start/end, deaths, wins/losses

  • R/P/S bullet selection usage and enemy defeat events

  • Settings (sensitivity, audio toggles)

C) Advertising data (only if you show ads)

If the App includes ads, ad partners may collect:

  • Advertising Identifier (IDFA) (only if you request permission and the user allows it)

  • Approximate location derived from IP (coarse)

  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
If you do not use ads, this section can be removed.

D) Purchases (only if you have in-app purchases)

If the App offers in-app purchases:

  • Apple processes payments. We don’t receive full payment details.

  • We may receive purchase confirmation/status to unlock content.

4) How we use information

We use collected data to:

  • Operate and maintain the App

  • Fix bugs and prevent crashes

  • Improve gameplay balance and difficulty

  • Provide customer support

  • (If enabled) Show ads and measure ad performance

  • (If enabled) Detect fraud/abuse and protect the service

5) Legal bases (where applicable)

Depending on your region, processing may rely on:

  • Legitimate interests (app improvement, security, diagnostics)

  • Consent (e.g., IDFA tracking permission, personalized ads)

  • Contract/performance (delivering features you request)

6) Sharing and disclosure

We may share information:

  • With service providers that help operate the App (analytics, crash reporting, ads, hosting)

  • If required by law, legal process, or to protect rights/safety

  • In a business transfer (merger/acquisition), with notice where required

We do not sell your personal information as a standalone product.

7) Third-party services

The App may use third-party SDKs depending on your implementation (examples):

  • Crash reporting / analytics (e.g., Firebase Crashlytics, Unity Analytics, GameAnalytics)

  • Advertising networks (e.g., AdMob, Unity Ads, ironSource/AppLovin)

  • Platform services (Apple services)

Each provider has its own privacy policy and may process data under their terms. Only include the ones you actually use in your build.

8) Data retention

  • Diagnostics and analytics are kept only as long as needed for the purposes described (typically weeks to months).

  • Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve the request and comply with legal obligations.

  • If the App stores data locally (settings, highscores), it remains on your device until you delete the app (unless you add cloud sync).

9) Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no system is 100% secure. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information to support.

10) Children’s privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country) without parental consent.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child provided personal data, contact us to remove it.

11) Your choices and rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights to:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal information you provided (e.g., support emails)

  • Object to or restrict certain processing

  • Withdraw consent (where consent applies)

Tracking / IDFA: You can control tracking permission in iOS settings.
Ads: If you use personalized ads, you can limit ad tracking via iOS privacy settings.

12) International transfers

If you are outside the country where servers/providers operate, your data may be processed internationally with appropriate safeguards where required.

13) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App changes. We will update the “Effective date” and may provide additional notice in-app or on the website when required.
